En el reverso se ve el sello de "G. M. Elton, Palmyra, N. Y." Hay además un recorte periodístico pegado extraído del Rochester Democrat and Chronicle del 16 de junio de 1888: "G. M. Elton, the gold medal medal photographer of America, of Palmyre, has just received from the Photographic Society of India, an elegant medal as a first prize for the best serieg of studies in class 1. The contest was open to the world, and as the exhibit Elton pictures was very large, Mr. Elton is receiving congratulations from all parts of the country, this being his eighth medal awarded in national or world competition."
